I find it disgusting that anyone on this board can bad mouth Matt Grothe.  He made plays all night.  The one pick was not his fault.  In the fourth quarter, the pick was definitely his fault.

He threw for over 300 yards and was the leading rusher, what more do you want from him?

Say what you want, yes the game was not stellar, but USF does deserve to win....and they did win!

FOR UCF- This was the biggest game this year for UCF. They wanted this more than any C-USA championship. They wanted it more than we did and they still lost.

FOR USF- This was a game that USF had to play, but we would rather be playing MIAMI, FSU or UF. This was also game that USF was almost caught looking ahead to a real game this coming friday. We pulled it out though and life will go on.

We will be fine. USF will come to play on Friday and will win.

Even the one that was his fault, wasn't too bad of a throw.  He just needed to lead the receiver a little more.  We also had too many drops again.

I normally don't agree with Smazza but lord that was an ugly game. 

- All Grothe had to do was NOT turn the ball over in their territory with 3 minutes left in the game and we win.  Oops.

- Tennessee Martin and UCF were both able to return our kicks pretty effectively.  RUT ROH RAGGY!!!

- The final set up for the field goal made no sense.  Oops delay of game!!!

- Kansas will be able to dink and dunk us all the way down the field.  Pass over the middle FTW!

- Blueprint is laid out for future USF loss.  UCF had no offense and was able to almost win just because of horrible special teams and bad decisions late in the game.

UCF came with a lot of emotion... it was their Super Bowl.  To their credit, their team didn't give up, unlike the thousands of UCF fans who left during the early to middle fourth quarter.
