Anybody know how many personal fouls UCiF had in this game? Dirtiest team around. I find it hilarious that leading up to this game Knights fans were arguing USF players were "thugs."

Not too many seasons ago we committed excessive penalties too. I always wondered why that was when I thought Leavitt had total control of the team. Some of UCF penaties were more due to stupidity. And it did seem we were on the winning side of some of the calls made by the Big East referees.

And ain't that great?  After 28 years as a Bulls fan (basketball included) this was the first time I ever felt things went our way.  Usually it seems to be the opposite.

It's nice to think "hmm, that could have been a late hit" instead of "WTF, he hardly touched him!" and throwing a chair through the TV.

When you make some of the dirty plays UCF made tonight, you solidify your own fate. I mean, when it's obvious that you are playing dirty, you are going to have calls against you. At the end of the day some of those calls may not have been black and white, but it was easy to see that extra hits(AKA late shots/face masks, etc...) was UCF's way of creating an advantage in the game. The referees, and anybody who watched the game saw it, and thus, UCF had a number of calls go against them.

I lost it when they tackled our punt returner a second before the put was caught.  I wish we could have capitalized more.

We're lucky no one got hurt with all the cheap and/or late hits UCF was laying down tonight. Especially guys flying up to USF players away from the action and decking them right as the whistle blew, like the one guy who drilled Jerome Murphy in the third quarter.
