WE ARE OVER $100.00!  Thanks to everyone who contributed.  If you haven't yet but want to, there is still time, but we are going to shut it off this afternoon and get the Hixons set up since it seems Drew may be transferred soon.

I just spoke with Matt over at BloomTown Florist.  True to Omni's word, he is a big Bulls supporter and was willing to work with us on a deal for an arrangement.  He's giving us a very large white lilly arrangement that's normally about $79.00 for $50 + tax.

I will be picking up the arrangement this afternoon, along with a nice card.  I will note everyone who contributed and sign their board names inside the card.  I'll try and get a picture of the bouquet before I deliver it, as well, and post it here.

The remaining $50 will go towards a Boston Market gift certificate for the Hixon family.  There are Boston Market locations all around the DC area, so if they aren't able to use it here in Tampa, they will be able to use it back in Northern VA.

Gary, not a problem.  It was my pleasure.  I had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Hixon and Drew when I dropped off the gifts.  Mrs. Hixon was very appreciative.

Any funds that come in after the fact will go into another gift certificate for the Hixons that I will deliver early next week.  Drew will be transferred to a hospital in VA around then.
