I think we've been down this road (topic) before.  My guess is just under 40K butts in seats.  Labor Day weekend against Tenn-Martin there will be too many no shows.

Not sure when they announce attendance if it is tickets sold or people through the turnstiles.  I'm sure someone on here knows.

USF-UT Martin exceeds 43K; KU game nearing 47K

Posted By Brett McMurphy at Aug 29, 2008 at 12:42 AM

Updated Aug 29, 2008 at 12:59 AM

With a little more than a day before the University of South Florida’s season opener against Tennessee Martin, the Bulls have already distributed 43,000 tickets.

That guarantees USF will exceed the announced crowd of 43,122 for the 2005 home opener against Florida A&M, the second largest home opening crowd in program history. USF could challenge the all-time home opening mark of 49,212, set in the program’s inaugural game in 1997.

Also, school officials said the Bulls already have sold 46,500 tickets for the Sept. 12 Kansas game, which will be televised on ESPN2. The game is expected to be a sell out.

I've seen it asked quite a bit, but don't remember seeing a definite answer, but does the number already distributed include the student tickets?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
