could be a very long time before Grothe's career QB rushing records are approached.

Ford would have a whole lot better chance advancing and probably leading in all categories if he was used as the premier running back that he was built up to be when we got him and that everyone expected he would be, if we had an Offensive Coordinator that had a "game plan", like using predominantly 1 or 2 running backs consistently so they can get a rhythm going to give us a consistent ground game, like when Andre Hall was here and like other teams have.  But the ground game won't happen and be effective until we get a new OC that has a "game plan" that uses the talent we have correctly.

This line is about Ford, not Grothe.  But he's a subject for discussion some other time.
