if i remember correctly Mike Ford didnt start 1 game last year and still led in rushing.  same will happen this year.

ben will start because he knows the playbook better and is better all-around.  but mike is the most talented when toating the rock so he will still get his 15-20 touches a game this year even if he isnt starting.

calling him out as lazy or leavitt out for favoring BBQ is insane.

Leavitt has a personal beef with ford.

Wow ..... This makes some of your Rays stuff look Einstein-like.

Leavitt's not going to play the players in situations that gives us the best chance to win because he has a personal "beef" with a player..... just wow.

the coaches... have a problem with ford... that is not a joke that is REALITY.

someone please explain to me how coach franks lists ford at #4 running back? give me a break. FORD IS THE MOST TALENTED BACK be have. He just doesn't try at practice and had a bad summer/camp

lol but he didn't have a bad spring game. I'll say it again..someone tell me that Mike Ford can't block someone.. lol He will pick up the blocks. He could be catching the ball too...don't be unrealistic! Let him start now that he knows the playbook. I think you guys have this picture in your head that he is not living up to his 5 star potential. He is a beast. This kid would be dominant in another style offense and he did pretty good in ours with hardly any starts. He is our best back hands down with Jamar Taylor right behind him. He has to be on the field the most. He will get the job done. The coaches must be doing this to get his head in the right place but when it comes time to perform he will be on the field.

Kelly is supposedly doing great, but Franks has Ford as tied for #2 ... you have him as #4.

Why are a few worked up about Ford and the depth chart?

He is just about in the same situation as last year, but most are expecting a better back.

Let's wait for the Kansas post game chat to really worry about Ford.

Where's that chill pill ?

Ben Williams was the starter for the Auburn game...

Mike Ford- 21 carries, 1 catch

Grothe- 18 carries

Williams- 5 carries

Taylor- 5 carries

Samuels- 2 carries

He will get his carries
