The font wouldn't have the iconic "U" with the horns.

I'm sure that could be worked out

I'm sure it could but it would be difficult to have it overlap like it does when USF uses it.

I'm sure it could but it would be difficult to have it overlap like it does when USF uses it.

I'll agree with that, unless you have stock letter packages.  Hit a key and USF comes out overlapped, or certain combinations of letters.  It'd be a bear to type with, but possible.
