BULL Nation IS Growing ... attendance proof.

The 2007 season:

Game 1 against a 1AA team: 33,639

Game 2 against a lowly ACC team, UNC after possibly our biggest win ever @ Auburn, we're 2-0: 37,753

Game 3 against #5 West Virginia, we're 3-0: 67,012

Game 4 against UCF, we're 5-0: 65,948

No suprises, but this is where I find it positive proof for growth.

Game 5 against Cincy after 2 straight road losses, we're 6-2: 57,379

Game 6 against Lville, we're 7-3: 57,288

And we began 2008 selling single game tix ONLY in the upper bowl in August because only almost 3,000 tix remain in the lower bowl remain. Our fan base is growing because of our success and graduating fans.

Was Cincy the homecoming game?  That didn't surprise me as much because we were still ranked, but the Louisville attendance was really good considering.  Perhaps there's still that feeling of a rivalry despite Louisville sucking.

Whatever the reasons, you are right that the fan base is growing.  hopefully we keep winning this year so it continues to grow.
