I liike how everyone jumps to conclusions about Ford.  I trust Leavitt will put the best back out on the field come game time.  Rather than listen to a bunch of nerds behind a keyboard choose our running back, I'll trust the Coach.

I think this is all a show......kick ford into gear... make him work harder in practice.

I still stand by my prediction that he will be our number one back by the end of the season.

he's the most talented.... he's a playmaker.... not a caretaker.

I think this controversy will all be laid to rest after the first few games.... I think one back will clearly stand out from the rest.... and it'll be ford.

I wonder how good of a blocker 160 lb Noel Devine is?

maybe good enough to pass block for the 114th best passing offense

They will miss Owen and Slaton.  Fortunately for the rest of the Big East, they plan to pass it more this year.  Good luck blocking, Divine.

People wanting B-Will to graduate early disappoint me.  He's a valuable part of the team.  I think he should get fewer carries this year, but from all reports he's in even better shape this year.

As for having Ford 3rd string:  we saw all year last year that Ford was the best RB.  Most likely that will happen again but for whatever reason he won't get enough carries.  If he's not in as good of shape as he should be, then that sucks.  It sucks because he'll most likely still be the best RB for actually running the ball, and we won't do it because he's not as good as he could be.

Some guys just don't practice well - who knows - but I will say Jamar Taylor is awsome between the tackles.

What a joy it is to have this much talent in the backfield - Most remember when it was Andre Hall and not much else.

The season will be here - ahhh not soon enough and we will know who steps up.

Well.... if that depth chart is based on who's in the best shape, then Grant Gregory is our starting QB.

I wouldn't read too much into this.
