Best Road Trip:  Probably finally moving out of home after college - ok, so it ain't a road trip - sue me.

1.  I can't think of a solid favorite at the moment, but for some reason, I've always had a soft spot for Necessary Roughness.

2.  Don't know other college players well enough.

3.  In 1989, I drove from Massachusetts to California at the beginning of the summer and then from Cali to Florida at the end of the summer.  That rocked.

4.  Faith No More in Munich or Nuclear Assault/Overkill at The Channel in Boston.

Road Trip:  in the Nav we spent 8 days in Canns inthe summer, more of a water trip but same gist right?

For my birthday, this year, my girlfriend suprised me with tickets to the Nextel All-Star race.......2 days beforehand.

She had no clue the Lightning would be playing game 7 vs. Philly at the EXACT same time as the race.

So, we loaded up with 2 of my best friends, and headed for Charlotte, NC...........with VCR.

I taped the hockey game and avoided all sports media until we got back to the hotel.

My favorite driver, Matt Kenseth, won the race AND I found out at about 3am(after watching the tape in the hotel room) that the Lightning won the Eastern Conference Championship.

Big & Rich.....at the Tim Mcgraw concert.

1) The Longest Yard

2) Cornelius Ingram, so we could bench his ass (yeah, I'm bitter, so what? )

3) Me and 2 buddies were eating lunch at work on a Friday, saw a story that it was lobster sport weekend (before it was moved to midweek), and decided to drive down to the keys to go lobster diving.  We got our paychecks, picked up certain hallucinogens (I stayed well medicated when I was young!), and drove down in the middle of the night.  It also happened to be Hemingway Fest in Key West, and I ended up spending the night with one of the most amazing females I've ever met.  Between that chick and the medications, I didn't sleep for 3 days! ;D

4) Monsters of Rock, Tampa Stadium, 1989

Field of Dreams

Roadie was on Graduation night from HS. Left a party with three friends and drove to Macinaw Island Michigan for lunch! (Mind you, this was about a 8 hour trip from Chicago area). Spent the night in Canada after meeting some Canadien girls, and drove back the next day to Chicago area. The funny part was, is that I had to call my folks and tell them I was ok and on Macinaw Island. They didn't believe we did it!

Most memorable concert was a tie. David Bowie on his Ziggy Stardust Tour, and Chicago and the Beach Boys at the old Chicago Stadium. Both excellent !!!
