Our football program doesn't have anywhere the talent as it did during our last year as a 1-AA participant or our first couple of years as a 1a particpant.  Our QB's are nowhere near as good as Blackwell.  We have no wide reciever that was as good as Huey.  We have no linebackers as good as Kawika and we have no one in our secondary as good as Henry or Reed.  Unfortunately we have a long road ahead of us as recruiting hasn't been up to par.

We have plenty of good talent, but Blackwell was very well suited to the spread and our current QB's do not seem to match up as well with our offense.   Julmist is facing much tougher opposition than Blackwell did at the same point in his time at USF.   He may well look much better as he gains experiance.   It is not a fair comparison matching our current players and what they face with the heavy AA schedule of the past.   Remember also that many of our players are freshman or redshirt freshman.   They will look much better with time and to some extent we will reap the rewards of their experiance this year in future seasons.

Isn't it funny that Harvey always shows up at the most opportunistic times to crap on USF.

About five of his comments said it all....the one about Huey Whitaker was one of our best WR's.  I almost blew coke out of my nose with that one.

These crapers come out of the woodwork when they smell blood. The last time was right after the Ark-Ok losses and they thought they smelled blood. Next thing you know we go 9-2.

S Bien - You tell me one player at a skill position you would rather have right now than the guy's who suited up 4 years ago.  This team is lacking talent, and it is very evident.  CJL is a big time coach who gets his players to play hard.  Unfortunately when you don't have the horses that doesn't mean much.

All are YOUNG. Yes, Kawika and Reed were great players for us, but these guys havent tapped their potential yet. In a year, no one will even attempt to pass the ball on us. BE-lieve it.

The one thing I agree on is the QB play. But, again, there is gonna be some VERY good competition next year among some VERY talented freshman and sophmores....
