The Bucs are 30th in the league in rushing with 122 yards. Twenty backs in the league have more rushing yards than the Bucs. . . . Other than winning Super Bowl XXXVII in San Diego, California has not been a pleasant place to visit for the Bucs. They're 2-15 in regular-season games played in California. Sorry to see Huey go, but the Bucs are desperate for a punt returner.  Right now, Bill Schroeder is muffing his opportunities and Tim Brown is averaging 4 yards per return because he's as slow as molasses.  They way I see it, Rubin could be active next week.

Hate to see them release Huey but I agree with Bull_ieve_it. I think that DeAndrew has a much better shot at seeing the field this season as a Punt Returner than Huey would have as a WR. Would have been nice however to see Huey get more than a few days to prove himself with the Bucs.
