Points awarded for season tickets are not based on ticket prices.  It's simply a reflection of the number of season tickets you've purchased for any USF sport, with a maximum of 30 in any given year.

Vicki, that's what I got from reading the point breakdown, although it didn't mention the 30 max, but when Matt posted the following I gots confused. Was the info he was given only based on baseball's Family Pak deal?

Negative, kids... I got an e-mail from Athletics today.  It seems that season tix for the "lesser sports" will be awarded points, but only 1 point for every $50 spent in tickets... at least from a Baseball perspective.

I have the Family 4-pack of Baseball tickets, and was awarded only one point for the package.  However, the Bulls Club e-mailed me and said that I'd receive 2 points for having those tickets... one for every $50.  Which is in accordance with other giving awards.

If I'm wrong, I'm sure USF will correct me.  But if you buy 5 $20 season tix to Women's Soccer, I'd imagine you'd only get 2 points.

And if $20 is the regular price for a Women's Soccer season ticket, you should get 5 points if you buy 5 season tickets, correct?

That's kind of a jip then.  WHy don't they give you points based on how much you spend on season tickets for all sports then?  I'm sure as hell spending a lot more then 6 pts in donations for my football tickets.

I can understand the point though... should I really get FOUR points for purchasing the family pack?  Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't turn them down... but what's to stop someone from just buying 5 season tix for every "lesser sport" and racking up 30 points a year, which blows away what I get with my four football season tix and donation...

There's gotta be a distinction.

yea its much cheaper to get points by being a lifetime member of the alumni association then it is to earn that many points through donations

I am in the same boat as Leavitt, we're not USF grads ... wish I waas an alum  :P

LOVE my BULLS though  :gobulls

When you check your account on the ticket manager, doesn't it show your points ?

ET - You don't need to be a grad to become a member of the Alumni Association.  It's open to "friends and alumni" of USF.

I'd consider you a friend of the university... =)

Wow, I didn't realize that ...... and they even have a monthly payment (12 months) plan for Lifetime Membership. I may really look into that .... if I can just get over the horrible faux pas they made on the inside back page of their latest magazine.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
