0-4: USF's record against Southeastern Conference opponents, having lost three previous road games to Kentucky, Alabama and Arkansas by a 109-29 margin.

2: Passes South Carolina quarterback Syvelle Newton, a converted receiver, completed before starting Saturday's game.

2: Touchdowns Newton threw in the first half Saturday.

47: Yards, the distance of Santiago Gramatica's field goal at the end of the first half, third longest in USF history.

283: Yards of total offense by South Carolina in the first half, nearly double what USF allowed last weekend in the entire game against Tennessee Tech.

78,900: Saturday's attendance at Williams-Brice, the largest to see a USF football game. Last year's loss at Alabama drew 76,780.
