Question about OCS's

I can't think of any other college stadium that we have visited that has served beer.  Rutgers, UNC, UCF (not on campus), FAU (not on campus), Auburn did not serve.  Bowl games did serve.  Don't think Syracuse serves.

FYI...Citrus Bowl in 2006 sold beer at the UCF/USF Game.

Also...Syracuse has been "famous" for their DOME FOAM for a very long time.

PS. Believe on-campus SEC stadiums do not serve beer in public areas (booze is served in suites & clubs though).

All of these "ban beer drinking" posts amaze me. 

Alcohol is legal in Florida if you are of age (21).  Underage drinkers can be arrested.  As a person over 21, I should have the right to have a beer at a game if I want one.  or two or three...

Some people may overimbibe, but they will have to deal with their consequences (ie arrest if out of hand at game, dui, etc...).   

Laws are in place to handle those who do not abide by reasonable means.  Plus unruley people can be thrown out of the stadium, I have seen it happen.

There is no need to penalize 65,000 fans because 100 or so are idiots.  Why "ban beer drinking".

This is another reason I am glad we will be at RJS for the next decade.  I happen to enjoy a few beers at the game.  And no, I am not yelling obscenities or getting fights.  People can drink beer, have fun, and not cause disruption.  They are not mutually exclusive behaviors.
