If you do in fact believe that, try to convince your compadres that winning CUSA once does not make UCF a superpower.  Or having a running back drafted in the third round does not make UCF an NFL training camp.

we did and we lost. We were not top 3 yet. Another exampe of a short-sighted ucf fan trying to talk trash to a team they never beat: The top 3 in florida can change often.

We played Miami when they were on the way down (Louisville beat them BAD at home later that season) and when we had no QB.  If we had even a Freshman Grothe, we would've put up a fight.  Not saying that we would've won, but it would not have been 27-7.

I was at that game (at least I can say I was in the OB) and I remember thinking "At least we beat the spread!"
