Just wondering.......

Do you boys have anything at all figured out? 

Yes, their is a difference in having a good team and having a good program.  In order to proclaim having a good program you must at least hoist 1 conference trophy before claiming to be part of the big 3.  That is all. :

That's funny a lot of the kids we are recruiting seem to almost always bring up our number 2 ranking last year, guess they didn't get the memo.  Also your "hardware" is nothing more than a paper weight, ours should we take care of business actually matters since it would send us to a BCS game.  Have fun rebuilding the mess that you're savior made.

You're right in that GOL is more of a fan of the big smash mouth football.  That works in Big Ten country, but not down here.  Down here, it's a speed game and in Florida, you don't find GOL-type players.  One of a few reasons why I think GOL is better off somewhere else.  He should be gone after 2010.

A lot of the problem is execution and coaching.  Jason Venson biting on a crappy fake is not a lack of talent, but bad coaching on how to cover.  Too many penalties is not a smack on talent, but bad coaching by not teaching the kids to keep their heads in the game.

Our problems has been injuries.  Aiken being out 3 games hurt and now Ross being out the rest of the year doesn't help either.  Guyton is already out for the year and PSmith did not have the proper coaching mentoring to keep him out of trouble.

Seeing how many UCF players made NFL rosters, I don't think talent is the problem.  It's coaching.
