I'm trying real hard not to gloat or even pay attention to them, but I hate their fans so much.  So much that I actually feel sorry for some of them.  I think like you mentioned above, they have this perception of their institution both athletically and academically set way too high from their administration.  Then you have fan boards that drill up the straw poll support for the delusional expectations.  It is a recipe for disaster.

I think it's going to be interesting, their stadium and athletic village model is based on certain attendance numbers.  This is like the subprime loan crisis at an educational instituational level.  I wonder what happens if they start to default on all those new buildings?  The train wreck is still ahead...
