UCF Basketball Coach Donnie Jones just added his THIRD Top 100 Recruit to join UCF this Fall!!

Ex-Vol Recruit Kevin Ware commits to UCF over Louisville, Georgia

Kevin Ware will join other Top 100 recruits, Tristan Spurlock (Mr Basketball in Virginia, transfer from UVA last year that will have 3 years of eligibility for UCF starting this fall), and Top 4-5 Center 6'10" Michael Chandler from Indianapolis (only one that still needs to finish up some academic work).

Congrats maybe you can get to the NIT.

We can make fun of practically any UCiF program, but their basketball program is actually on the rise, while ours has stagnated. To many it appears they're now a better team than we are, despite us jumping out to something ilke a 19-2 all time record we're, what, 2-3 the last several years? With us on the losing end no less.

As Great 8 said, we can point and laugh at a lot of UCF stuff but it would be really stupid to do that to their hoops program, at this point in time ...

Did USF even try to get in on this kid? I would think if he can start at UCF he could start at USF. Amazing what Jones is doing at UCF, they have the top recruiting class in the state.

Not sure why you think UL fans have had enough of UCF. We dont play them in any sport what so ever.  Ware is a good pick up foir UCF.  I saw in the article he wanted to come in and play point guard right away and UCF can offer that so it makes sense.  He would sit behind Siva who would be a junior this year and Rodney Purvis is coing in the follwoing year who is a  star PG.  So it makes all the sense to me to go to UCF and start right away.  I would to.

Just be thankful that we have Coach Cox on the staff. Just think how bad the talent would be if he wasn't pulling some of these JC players we are getting.Yes Donnie Jones is a rising star and he is doing it the right way at UCF. I'm confident that we will start getting good HS talent in our program too...just have to wait a little while longer.
