Are you guys really that surprised?

I'm being serious here...not trying to flame or anything...

But honestly, I've heard some of you say it all year how overrated some of the teams in the Big East were (USF, UCONN, etc etc).  Are you surprised to see how they compare to teams in other conferences?

Rizz, let's keep some perspective.  You're talking 2 bowl losses this year and 1 of them (USF) was a team that beat Auburn at Auburn this year.  Last year the Big East was 5-0 in bowl games.  I don't think that qualifies as a "we can't play with the other conferences" comment.

Indiana and Michigan State lost and Purdue had to scramble to beat a MAC team.  The jury is still out on Wisconsin and Michigan.  Let's also see what Illinois does against USC before you throw stones at the Big East.  You may find that at the end of the day, people will say the Big-10 can't compete.
