It doesn't matter to me if we are up by 52 points-- it is an 80s fad that should die.

I actually LIKE the wave, but I refuse to do it unless we're up by at least four touchdowns.

That's my criteria, and I'm sticking with it.

I honestly don't know why people have a problem with other fans doing the wave.  When it's being done, it looks like at least 75 - 80% of the fans are doing it so it looks to me like the majority of people like doing it regardless if it's been done for decades.  I agree that it should not be done when we have the ball, but get over it and stay seated if you don't want to do it - I've certainly sat out my share and have never been bothered by anyone.   It's not disrespectful to visiting fans, there are no offensive words involved, the little kids especially love it, and it's a great lower-body workout (okay that's a reach).  To keep trying to start some type of campaign on a message board to stop the wave is wasted effort.  It will die out when everyone is ready for it to.

The best part of the wave is the booing towards the visitor sections that don't do it =)
