I was really excited to see this guy run, but he only gets a few carries a game. His upside is very good but he really needs to protect the ball.

Anyways, I would have like to seen him run more against UCF but he left with a hurt shoulder for a couple of plays. CJL also keeps mentioning guys going to class which we know Ford was in trouble for against FAU.

Does anyone know if he is injuried, in trouble, and if we can expect to see him in Rutgers Thursday?

I hope he is in with Ben Williams.  Hopefully he is fully out of whatever dog house he was in by now.

Seriously, I am high on Ben Williams, but the duo together would be a nightmare for any defense.

He does need to hold onto the football.  Do what they did in 'the program" make him carry a football to classes and on campus and have his teammates try to pop the ball loose.  This will help with him going to class and holding onto the football.  a win/win

Yep.

I'd love to see us utilize his TENACIOUS running style more in the second half of this season.

The only guy in recent memory with his same "I'm hitting paydirt every time I touch the ball" mentality is Adrian Peterson @ Oklahoma.

You can just see it in the way he runs.

if he was able to hold the pill i would bet he would get way more carries. i also like seeing jamar taylor. ford and taylor are going to be sick in the future.

great talent...but will we see the potential realized (a la C4), I am  not so sure now

i am concerned when amarri leaves next year.

I kind of wished he would have given him some more practice in the UCF game but I am wondering if he is saving him again like before the Auburn game.
