rumor: Rutgers to break out All Black Uniforms/Nevermind-Unis will be normal

on their message board it seems like some of their fans are saying that they can confirm that Rutgers will wear all black uniforms for the game on Thursday.

seems like everytime a team tries to do something new with their uni's they lose (Notre Dame in green, FSU in all garnett)

lets hope that is the case.

i imagine we will be in white jerseys with green pants. 

you know there is some anticipation when there is all this talk about friggen uniforms.

USF usually does well with the green pants and white jerseys compared to the all white unis. I think the last time USF wore all white unis was against either UL or Kansas last season. I cant remember, but I seem to remember that USF seemed to lose more wearing those all white unis from past history.

We wore all white last year at UCF.  That didn't seem to be a problem.  However, in our winning streak for all road games, including the bowl game, we've worn the white jersey/green pants combo.  Its been pretty successful, so I'd imagine we'd stick with it.

I saw RU had black pants for their road game with Syracuse this past weekend.  No matter, we just need to play our game to win.

the purpose of this thread wasnt because i really think that uniforms have anything to do with what happens on the field...but rather to show our fans how big Rutgers is taking this game.  breaking out special Uni's....usually reserved for very special games.
