ok, Bowl Game question...

i need some help.

my wife is an RN and she needs to put in time off requests like 2 months in advance.  we are trying to figure out the different bowl game sceniros. 

am i correct by saying the most likely bowl games will be either the NC, the Sugar Bowl, or the Gator bowl.

NC if we stay #1 or 2.  Sugar Bowl if we win the big east but dont make the NC.  and Gator bowl if we somehow finish 2nd in the big east?

anyone else have any insight to help us figure out which days she needs to request off

The gator Bowl has the option of taking a big 12 team. We could be in the Sun, I think another posible game is the Car Care Bowl if we drop a game or two.

umm thanks for the advice but she is just as big of a bulls fan as i am and she wants to go.

I would say either the NC, Orange, or Gator.

i doubt that the gator bowl would take a big12 team over the #2 big east team.  they would have, what, the 5th place big 12 team?

I think you are safe in those assumptions if you have to assume. As mentioned we could end up in the Sun or Meineke but I think we would have to lose 3 games for that to happen. If we lose 2 and don't win the Big East, the Gator could pass on us and take a Big 12 team but with our recent attendance I would doubt that.

The BE bowl alignment is:

BCS game: Orange Jan 3; Sugar Bowl Jan. 1; Fiesta Jan. 2; Rose Jan. 1: NC Jan. 7

Gator or Sun Bowl: January 1 - Gator or Sun Bowl December 29

Texas Bowl: December 28

Meineke Car Care Bowl: December 29

International Bowl: January 5

Papjohns.com Bowl: December 22

Based on that schedule I would recommend December 27th to January 8th

Order of Selection is Orange, Fiesta, and then Sugar.  The Rose will be first though as OSU will have to be replaced if they stay #1.  So, if USF doesn't make the NC game but does win the Big East we're probably heading to New Orleans for New Years.  I don't think any other bowl would select us before other traditional powers.  Maybe the Orange, but I doubt it.
