So I ran into Lee Roy Selmon on Saturday before the game..

I know him from some past USF events I was involved with...  Anyway got to talk with him for 5 or so minutes.

I took the time to ask him if he imagined it would be like this so quickly. and he said he was surprised.  Also took the time to praise him and Leavitt who made the program what it is. 

his response was as expected, he said "really it is our fans who have made the program, etc...." 

I ended up cutting him off sayhing he is too humble and that he and Leavitt shoudl take the credit for what they have built.  it was their vision that made us all the happy fans we are today.  They saw what others didn't.  And the both put in countless hours of blood, sweat, and tears to make it what it is today.

What a great guy, and really really glad I got a chance to talk with him this season.  We are so lucky to have him as part of our program.

How cool would it be for USF to play OU in the NC game?  There would be some amazing story lines there.  Lee Roy's involvement in gett ing the program started and then Leavitt's relationship with Stoops.
