Other than Culpepper who of note have they put in the NFL?

Only other one really of note would be Asante Samuel ....

I really have no problem with UCF but every fan that isn't delusional knows that our program has done more. The rational ones admit it and while they're quick to point out our flaws or their achievements any objevtive observer would see that we have more than they. 

Culpepper is about the only thing they can point to as having, a top skills player that the national media fawns over, that we've never had. And they're right about that. That's something they can pin to their lapel. It just doesn't show any success on the field of play.

Whitley might want to look into the Witness Protection Program after that stunt. It couldn't have backfired any harder.

By the way, someone should give a game ball to the staffer inside the building who saw this and let it happen, knowing full well that they'd be telling the Jim about it as soon as Whitley's goofy ass was out the door.

In some ways UCF is still ahead of us, they have been in C-USA about as long as we were and yet they already have 1 conference title.

Appearing in the conference championship game isn't the same as a conference title.  Well maybe at UCiF it is.  Moral conference championship?

Whitley's article was a joke.

I got the joke, why do so many people not get the joke.  It is blatantly obvious that several things in that article were staged, like the maintenance guy closing off the the table he was sitting at and even him sitting on the bull statue

All these comments actually change the "riled up" part of his joke to a reality.
