Gousfbulls says that Larry Coker is doing the color commentary for the UCF game.

"For those without a ticket, the game will be broadcast live on ESPNU with Clay Matvick (play-by-play) and Larry Coker (color) providing the commentary."

We should get Larry Coker to be our Recruiting Coordinator. Even though he's not much of a coach, he can recruit pretty well.

So what are the odds:

1. That he has ever seen a USF game (other than prep for our game with UM and the game)

2. That he doesn't have the Big 3 mentality and will secretly be hoping for us to lose

I agree about the recruiting thing. Wasn't he an OC at Miami? He did pretty well at that, we would be hard pressed to add a position with the very limited asstant coach salary allowance that CJL has.

Coker is a solid coach, maybe just not a head coach.

Everyone here should THANK Larry Coker.

He is the reason USF is playing against Miami 5 more times.  Sure, Paul Dee is the AD and ESPN asked for Miami to have an annual game...

But if Coker said no, it wouldn't have happened.

And before we jump all over Coker, how about we wait until he actually covers the game before we crucify him for being anti USF.  Relax people.

why would he. at all.

Why would Jimmy Johnson? Just because things ended bad at UM, he was there a long time, I doubt that you just forget about all of that and move on. His players are the ones being passed up by us.

I hope I am wrong. He could be a big supporter. That's why I was asking what the odds are.

Hopefully he hasn't heard Taurus' comments about Miami not being part of the Big 3 any more.
