Apparently the experts at scout.com have us not even winning the Big East after knocking off the top contender (WVU). What happened? Did I fall asleep for a month and miss a few losses?

The Brut Sun Bowl in El Paso? That sucks (for the #5 team in the country). If we don't win the Big East, I see us at least going to the Gator Bowl. Bring it on ACC.

The Sun Bowl and Gator Bowls are technically even when it comes to selection, if the Gator Bowl goes ACC-Big 12, Big East goes out west and vice versa.

I would much rather us play:

1. An ACC team (Florida State watch out)

2. In Jacksonville (Fans wouldnt have to fly)

All meant by the post was that if we dont go to a BCS game, I would rather play the Gator Bowl.

Weekly bowl projections are a little obsessive. Last week, we were playing a BCS game. We struggle a little, and now everyone has us out of it. I don't get too excited about what they are saying week to week. We win this week and we are half way through our season without a loss.

The second half is where the pressure really builds up.

After the UCF game, we will get right into the Big East schedule. If we win our Big East games we will get a BCS game no matter what the media has to say.
