Hmm...seems to me that they haven't watched enough football. If you go to FSU..you hear the warchant the WHOLE game...UF you hear that annoying "Go Gators" music...and teams like USC and Notre Dame play their fight song ad nauseum. The band is there to fire up their own fans....if the other side doesn't like it...they can always drown them out with their own noise. (But it seemed like they were too busy making noise for their own offense  )

thanks for the kind words. i also liked your show alot, ive ALWAYS wanted to do a Queen show. to stress his points, ya, bands usually support each other, unless they are jerks, but USF wasnt, they were pretty cool. i think the playing to the away side is just something different than what florida schools do. our director before our current had us play to ALL sides of the field, even though we were the home team, he was from Las Vegas and did his doctoral work in Washington. its just a matter of preference i guess. its kind of cool seeing the bands get mentioned on the board,lol.

the Herd of Thunder pwns.  period.

unlike alot of bands that play the same sh-t (i.e. how many SEC teams play that Star Wars crap??), the HOT has a quality playlist: Bulls on Parade, We Want the Funk, Apache, Dancing Machine...

the biggest gripe i had was the FAU band playing literally the same stuff HOT did a couple of plays after HOT played it... i.e. We Want the Funk.  i know it's merely coincidence, but geez... wait a few plays before playing the same stuff.

LOL @ the douchebags on the FAU board complaining about HOT "overpowering their PA speakers"... a mosquito fart could overpower Lockhart's PA speakers.  that sh-t sounded like a clock radio.  lmao.
