Students where have you been?

It seems that 100's (more like 1000's?) of students are now missing out on football tickets.

My question is where have some (not all) of you been for the last 10 years?

It seems to me we should have had this problem years ago.

Well, the first four year of my collegiate experience I was a member of the Herd of Thunder. Since then I have been attending almost all of the home games(and a handful of away games), and sitting in the student section right behind the goal posts, where HOT used to be located.

Agreed, they were aybe 3-4k die hard student fans.... now we are ranked and they are coming out of ever where.....

Its good, I just hope they say if we drop a game or two.

part band wagon and part true fan base.

This year during late night orientation, Beef Studs picked up 300+ people interested in joining... roughly 60 came through. People are becoming more aware of foot ball and what it means to be at this school.

that makes no sense at all. we had 9k student section now its 18k three games later.

It was 8,000(8,600 for Elon), now its 12,501.

I think it's great that USF football is now THE thing to do on saturday (or friday).

It's finally cool to be a fan of your own school at USF.  This is what big time football is all about.  And the more students the merrier, because these are the people who will continue to be fans for years after graduating.  Some of them just needed a little more hype to get excited and finally jump on board, but I don't think you could consider any student at USF and "bandwagon fan."  It's their school.

There will be some bumps along the way, but the admin will get it straightened out.
