ESPN GAME DAY: "USF #5? ...No way!"

Well it looks like most of the media and coaches do not agree with Game Day. Did we not move up anyway?  Just win the Big East and then we can prove our worth on the field against one of these elite teams.

One of my friends claimed gameday might be coming to the USF game next week, but I guess that isn't happening.

Also, i'm sure if there was a college gameday in the 80s I doubt the people on there would have been giving Florida State or Miami the respect they deserved, but after Miami dominated the 80s, FSU the 90s, and Miami late 90s early 00s both programs earned their respect. South Florida is right where those teams are, and the fact we're even getting talked about on College Gameday is a huge step up.

It does annoy me how we're ranked behind Boston College though. What is their best win? Georgia Tech? Wake Forest? We have 2 huge wins, there are very few teams that can match our 2 wins except LSU and Cal. I'd say Cal is basically even, winning at Oregon is better than winning at home against West Virginia while winning on the road against Auburn is better than winning at home against Tennessee. Ohio State is you go based on resumes should probably be behind USF but I personally ranked Ohio State ahead of USF still because of their dominating victories but they were shaky against Akron and Washington so USF could very easily be ahead of them and #3.

Because they are bigger names.  College football is lame in that way.  USC getting automatic praise every year and then the last two years proving that they are totally undeserving.  That's my total pet peeve.

Did anyone else notice that when they were showing the "Next 3 games" on the ticker that they had FAU's schedule (and all the other team's) but not ours?  Also, when the scores scrolled the next day on the bottom, no mention of Ben's 180 some yards.  Still seems to be a bias against us.  I think Rece Davis is a fan of ours.
