ESPN GAME DAY: "USF #5? ...No way!"

I don't disagree with these guys. After watching that game yesterday, USF does not belong in the top five. It's as simple as that. But hey, at least we didn't lose to Stanford! If the Bulls keep winning (even if it's ugly), they will start to make a move.

i admit we don't look like a top 5 team. but on the other hand, with all the upsets happening out there, there's something to be said about going into a tough environment, not playing your best game, but still coming out with a win. a 2 score win, at that. it's what good teams do.

Lets be honest here. Does any school really look like a top 5 team right now?? I am not sold on LSU. USC got beat. Wisconsin was overrated. USF fans should not appologize to anyone about be ranked in the top 5. Those schools had their shot, and they all lost. USF deserves the attention they are getting because we have something special growing over there on Fowler Ave.

I was watching the end of the Nebraska and Missouri game, and the ESPN announcers (who had an AP vote) said that USF moves up just because of attrition at the top and for winning.

It's all good because USF is getting mentioned everywhere: The attention is what I want for USF.

I dont think its a reason to complain......you nearly lost to FAU and you still get to probably move up a rank.....its a good job though.......most teams in ur position fold and end up loosing the game

These announcers have zero credibility and really have their heads up their butts.  You really have to be kidding me.  Howard and Fowler are moving Oregon to number 5 and number 4 respectively.  How can you move a team from number 14 into the top 5 when you lost your last game and didn't play this week????  You don't move a team 9 or 10 spots when they don't play.

The game is played on field.  not on paper.

USF can't be in the top 5 because we barely beat FAU, yet Oklahoma loses to Colorado and they can be?  How does that make any sense?

It's funny.  How quickly they forget about a week ago.  They had Oklahoma in the top 5.  I believe they lost to an unranked Colorado team last week.  Yeah, that is really a top 5 team.  And wow, they beat TX by 7.  TX got destroyed by K-State last week and Kansas beat K-State this week.  They are making it sound like we lost to FAU.  I am sure if USC won yesterday 23-17, they would still have them in the top 5.  They were 40 point favorites.  it doesn't make sense to me.  On the otherhand, I don't know if I want to be #5.  Michigan, W. Virginia, and Wisconsin have already gone down with that ranking this year.
