I'm a bit wired and can't sleep.  The game was actually a great atmosphere except that you couldn't see the **** scoreboard from our endzone.  Tailgating was fun, but the stadium sure did suck.

I think Orange Bowl folks saw we will travel and buy 1 or 2 hotel nights.  Ticket office was officially sold out.  Crowd observaton would put it at FAU fans 50% 10,000; BULLS fans 40% 8,000; Local casual/curious fans 10% 2,000 (lots of UF gear - WTF?).

I saw many times where an FAU red shirt would try to start something and our BULLS fans/students did not respond and showed great restraint/respect.  Why on earth would they put the FAU cannon and crew in the visitor endzone?

Great showing; I agree.  We can get another 10K for 20K even if this was the Orange Bowl.  This is a conservative estimate.  The stadium is archaic and the future games should be moved to J-Rob (like the Minnesota game).  Why our game was not played there I don't know?  5-0 is a great start - best all time (tied) and UCF will not be the spoilers either.

With Cincy taking Rutgers - I think the 8-0 show down with the Bearcats will be a great homecomming.  We should still have 4 ranked teams from the BE in the polls today - UCONN should sneak in even with a Bye.

Rutgers won't fall far - maybe 29-30.  However; L'ville was surely exposed for being an average team this year.  Looking forward to another SELLOUT (already) at Ray-Jay next Saturday - Go Bulls!

We take over at #4 or #5 in AP and Coaches this week.

although i generally enjoy watching games on TV more than attending games live, i think that would've been a great game to attend. for one, the camera angles sucked on TV, and secondly, it just would've been nice to be there with all the USF fans on the road.

Need to get HOT to more road games they came through loud and clear on TV

Wish we could get them to rutgers

Watched the beg of the wvu cuse game and the wvu made the trip. Announcers said it was the first time their band made that trip and joked the cost probably came out of dim rods expense acct

Wish we could find a way...can't we use some of the unexpected revenues provided from the sellouts this season?

We should at least have the pep band make the road trips like UNC did when they played at USF.

The reason the game wasn't moved to Joe Robbie was because as I understand it, the NCAA only allows teams to play one neutral site game a year--which in FAU's case was the Minnesota game.  Anyway, I think I read somewhere that Lockhart and the baseball stadium next door are about to be torn down for a new spring training complex for the Orioles.  If that's the case they may end up playing at Joe Robbie for a year or two.

That would be trouble for them because with UM moving to JRS next year between them and the dolphins not sure how much they would cater to FAU. They need to build their on campus stadium ASAP
