Thoughts and opinions welcome...just an educated guess as to where this week's chaos will leave things. Les Miles had huge nads in that comeback win v. UF, Ohio St appears to be getting stronger each week, BC took care of business, we struggled but got a road win, and keep an eye on Missouri...boy did they look impressive in dismantling Nebraska.

Lets hope not #5. Every #5 this year has dropped shortly after with a loss.

I think BC and USF are a toss up at 4 and 5.  I mean we played bad today but so did BC last week, plus we have much bigger wins than them.

I agree with kastofsna ... USC should drop out of the top 10. Losing to an unranked team is one thing ... losing to Stanford is ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, but c'mon ... I grew up in CA, and Stanford isn't exactly known for a storied football program. They are (usually) little better than a I-AA team. If they don't plummet to 15th or worse, it just goes to prove my political rant about the polls. USC has been winning ugly all season ... actually, that sounds like another team last year who went on to win the National Title ... hmmmm

I'd like to see us at #4, but BC will probably jump us. Either way, let's worry less about where we might be tomorrow and more on how to correct mistakes made in today's game and what we are planning on doing when UCF rolls into town next week.

the difference between USC winning ugly this year and UF winning ugly last year is that people expected USC to never punt this season. just nonstop offense, and the best defense in the program's history. clearly playing well below expectations.
