Putting The Win and Potential Rankings....

BC has looked more impressive in general, especially on offense, and having a Heisman candidate at QB is always going to get you more attention to the pollsters. plus, we struggled against FAU and they destroyed Bowling Green, who most voters would look at as near equals, so who looked better?

That was today.  What happened against 1AA UMASS last week.  10 point win?  Again.  Where are the wins against the quality teams?  

If they are ranked ahead of us it will be because of name recognition, but BC's wins don't co,mpare to WVU or Auburn.

...and I am still trying to figure out why people are complaining about our close win vs FAU, but no mention of CAL only beating Colorado State by only 6. 

Don't we have to take the big picture into consideration and not just today's game?

Two comments...

-BC had trouble last week (and Cal before that), whereas we had trouble this week.  Pollsters have a short memory, when convenient.

-There are people who are looking for reasons to knock us down because we don't fit neatly into their traditional hierarchy of teams.

Only one way to combat the latter... JUST WIN!

there's no mention of Cal vs. CSU because:

1) no one here actually saw it

2) FAU was THIS week

3) Cal isn't going to be scrutinized as much as an upstart USF program

4) who cares about Cal vs. CSU?
