Will Leavitt have to respond ????

Near the end of the game, there was a personal foul 15 yard penalty.

Leavitt found out who it was on the bulls, found him on the sideline, then grabbed his jersey by the neck and yanked the player around a bit.  He then smacked his helmet from the rear as he proceeded to yell at him.  He got right into his facemask/helmet.  Not quite a bobby knight moment, but they did keep replaying it and talking about it on ESPN.

Do you think this makes the media or if he ends up having to respond to it?

I know he is an intense coach, and that fifteen yards coudl have cost us the game.  I agree with him being upset, and I personally had high school coaches who got like that.  Just with the cameras rolling not sure if that turns into something he will get asked about or not..

I am wondering about it myself.  In reality it shouldn't be a big deal but you know how the media loves to overdo things like that.

He also hugged him at the end of that exchange. A coach going after a player like that in full pads isn't that big of a deal I don't think. Maybe it will be seen as bad, but I think it was more of a young kid that needed some coaching. Leavitt didn't hit him, or grab him by the facemask and pull him around, so I don't think it will come up again.

football is a little different from basketball.

much more of a contact sport so i think the coaches get away with a little more contact. 

comparing what leavitt did to bobby knight is stupid.  i hope no one is doing that.

ive seen that happen a ton of times during football games.  i doubt anything happens
