The Big East

As much as I argue with people who say that the big east is one of the weakest conferences.... its hard to argue now with teams like rutgers going down to maryland and louisville embarassing themselves every time the take the field. the strongest team in the conference besides us is Cinci...????? im beginning to realize that the big east is in fact a weak conference. im just happy knowing the bulls can COMPETE with basically anybody in the country, but wow.

Louisville is single handedly crushing this conference.  Everyone knew Rutgers was overrated at least although they should not lose to a team at home that was crushed by WVU a week or two earlier on their home.

I don't see it. Last year the Big East was in a three team race. This year BE could have a four team race. And don't sleep on WVU. They're not a bad team. They ran into a better team that can match them speed for speed.  I still don't think that the BE worst then the ACC and the Big 10. Look at there schedules and records. Who's on top of those conferences, Ohio State and Wisconsin for the B-10. And the ACC has BC and V-Tech. Can the BE top teams beat those teams?

Louisville is an embarassment right now based on expectations, but i think we still are in good shape. Top to bottom we have good teams, and the bad ones could recover. Pitt gets good recruiting classes every year and Syracuse has big name recognition. Both might need new coaches to change the atmosphere there though. Maybe Kragthorpe isnt the guy for Louisville because they really should be better than this.

The emergence of us and Cincy will only help the conference. UCONN looks to be headed in the right direction as well.

The conference is fine, considering a few years ago we were on life support id say 4 top 25 teams and one in the others receiving votes is pretty **** good for an 8 team conference.
