Yeah...I'm not sure what to make of that other than Heath wants to take a low-key approach.  But I would think he would want to try to ride the high that the school is on.  Interesting for sure...

Unfortunalty as much as USF is on a high right now, nobody currently cares about basketball because of the last regime that was in here. Football doing what their doing doesn't help that fact that students probably will not realize practice starts next weekend.

The bottom line is nobody stepped to try and put March Madness together this yr.   D Mince brought it back from the dead and myself and Faza helped in its continuation. Until basketball starts to win again and it will, people will have to step to the plate if they want something done.

Two honest questions:

1)  Does anyone even go?

2)  Don't they just do skits and stuff?  I may be wrong, but I seem to recall USF's "Madness" degenerating into a comedy show of some sort.  If that is true, I can understand it not going forward.  That and a lack of attendance.

That is pretty much the extent of it.  Limited attendance, comedy show, and a 5 minute scrimmage.

I did go whenever we had one, but the turnout really has never been great.  The one Mince started was decent, but I don't think people would have went this year anyway.  People are football crazy.

Now if they were giving away free football tix at Midnight mania... the place would jammed.

Keep in mind, the night it would happen, 99% of people who would go also go to every USF home game. We have a noon football game the next morning, with tailgating starting as early as 7AM. So how many would stay/go out to the SUn Dome less than 12 hours before a football game?
