I went down tonight to catch the Jim Leavitt show live and I was not impressed.  Actually I was a little bit embarassed.  First of all, the venue isn't the greatest place in the world.  They did it from an outdoor deck/seating area which only sat about 35 people.  The bad thing is, that is all that showed up.  I stood outside in the courtyard as the only other 'Bulls fan' out there.  This is ridiculous.  We have the number 6 team in the country and we can't get more than 35 people to attend the Head Coach's show.  Wow, totally embarassing.  CJL was great though.  I don't even think there were that many callers to the show.  Maybe they were all at the Lightning game or something, but it was very disheartening to say the least.

I love CJL but our fans need to start showing up.  Things like this make us seem like a rinky dink operation.  I literally couldn't believe it.

Blah, blah, blah..........and Go Bulls!

it is a radio show and that is about how it always is for this event

it's not some huge party--- they did promote one of the first nights as such but it is much more low key than that.

That has been my experience with every one I have been to so far.

So relax about being embarassed. It's not that big of a deal

joeb,

my friend and i have been going since day one.  aside from last season, he and i were about the only ones in attendance for the first 8-9 years.  be glad there were 35.  the bandwagon is just starting.

I think it is the best little secret about USF football. There were a lot more fans there this week than last week by the way. And I have to say that my waitress did an amazing job with her services.

Dates, times, and places with be improving for the Bulls and CJL.  We are getting charged up for all events concerning this program.  Be a bit patient and give it some time - not much though b/c we need to make quick work of numbers/fans at program events.

Joe, I went as well, the only problem I had was the outdoor seating which is WAY too hot and muggy for me (don't know how Leavitt does it in a full suit and tie). Of course the table full of women next to us did nothing but yap yap yap the entire time Leavitt was talking and I had a hard time hearing over that so next time I'll know to sit somwhere that a large group could not be near me.

Yep, the AC was blasting inside, but we relegated to the outside area.  I was sweating in a tee shirt, so I don't know how CJL does it in a suit.  I noticed that too about the table of ladies.  A few points during the show I was hoping somebody next to them would tell them to shut the F up.

I guess I was just hoping for more out of the show with the fans.  It is a great time and place to meet the Coach though.

I have sat through many of his shows. I would have to say it was the biggest crowd for the show in a long time. It is what it is, a radio show. The best thing I noticed about it was the sign on Stumps, it said something to the effect "Go Bulls #6 team in the country, Now let's break into the top 5"

We'd love to go and maybe we will again, but it is hard with a baby and living in Pinellas.
