Serious Question About Being In The Big East

Big East is probably the 3rd or 4th best conference in college football.  The SEC, Pac-10, and maybe the Big 12. The ACC and the Big-10 is the worst BCS conferences right now. It's a shame that the Big East still don't get the respect that they deserve. Kirk Herbstriet dis the BE because his favorite (Rutgers) went down. They always mention the BE schedules, and never talk about the schedules of the Big-10 or the ACC.  Rumor is that the Big-10 is looking to expand. And they're looking at Rutgers, Syracuse, and Boston College. And the ACC looking to the BE to shop around again(Louisville). Then what USF do?

Last year the BE had a better record against the ACC in BB. Yes, the Big East has the best BB conference in the country.

Florida will never let another Sunshine State school in SEC.

BE is at least as good as ACC by most measures and the 12 team/conf. champ game mega conferences are proving to not be good for national championships.

If NBC were to ever get tired of Notre Dame, they might need BE and that'd be a natural.

Who in the ACC could beat USF and WVU? The ACC and the Big 10 is the worst BCS conferences.

The Big East is 2nd/3rd this year in football, behind the SEC and Pac-10, and not far from either of them if you ask me.

In basketball, the Big East is #1, with probably the ACC and SEC right behind.

I'm good with where we're at. I'd like to see the Big East add a team or 2 for football only, but hey beggers cant be choosers.
