I hate the gators, but not necessarily Spurrier. He is a greatr coach. He has been relatively low key since leaving gainesville, I think he basically takes on the personality of the fans, and acts the way they want him to act.

They need to keep moving the ball though. Hold them down boys. We could have the best luck of any football team in history. Now we need a couple more top 5 or 7-10 AP poll teams to go down this weekend (notice, very specific).

I had a feeling Kentucky would be exposed as a highly overrated team this week. The only reason they are ranked so high is because of their win over another overrated team, Louisville.  Let's just hope there doesn't come a time when USF is exposed as being overrated as I'm sure a lot of people across the country and expecting.

The bootomline-- the only thing our team can control is our own games. #1 goal is to win the conference. I fear that means running the table. At best-- one loss.

Agreed CTB... i think we can win both those games, but getting Cincy at home is important.  They are very tough on both sides of the ball, very well balanced.

So Rutgers losing to Cincinnati would make our game against the Knights easier? I don't understand your logic.

Agreed CTB... i think we can win both those games, but getting Cincy at home is important.  They are very tough on both sides of the ball, very well balanced. 

Getting Cincy at home is huge with our new found 12th man! 

As for Spurrier...he is certainly polarizing...but I've respected the programs he ran at Florida.  No shoe scandals there and was willing to give the boot to anyone. 

Beating KY was a nice win for his program although I suspected they would win...

Kentucky was not going to survive LSU, Florida, Tennesse etc. later in their schedule...

Expect South Carolina to be ranked ahead of USF this week in both polls... and if UF beats LSU, then UF and LSU will both be ahead of USF in both polls.

I expect USF to be #8/9 in the AP and #10/11 in the coaches because we play FAU and there are other teams right behind us playing stronger teams.

I don't know that we will get dropped to 8/9 if we win.  It all depends on the game.  If it's a quality blowout (and we stop the dumbass turnovers), then we're staying at #6.  But if the game is tight, then we'll definitly get bumped, but probably down to 10-12.
