Prior to the Auburn-Florida game, Lou Holtz said “Auburn has as much chance of beating Florida as I do being elected Senator of Florida." In some cultures, that would be good enough for one to stake a claim as a government official, but not so in the United States.

Remember Lou's son is the coach at ECU and he is not fond of the Bulls - giving his kin a beat down for our first bowl win.  He is a wolf in sheeps clothing and not liked (here) very much.

Lou is usually wrong and a traditionalist.  He prefers to cheer and root for the "good ole boys".  He needs to have his style and attitude put into a museum so we can see how it "used" to be.  Lou, on a scale of 1-10 is a 1 in my book.

HUH?  Putting his style and traditionalist aside he's not against USF for the beat down.  Skip and Jim have crossed paths before and are friends and Jim's been very respectful of Lou.  They got to know each other real, real well during Lou's stints at the Outback Bowl with USC- both times they practiced at USF and Jim spent his entire break watching them.  He likes the Bulls, don't let his silly style fool you.

Last Saturday during Halftimes, the commentators were asking if USF beating WVU was "bad for the Big East", and only Lou said that it was good.
