I still have my "Seth's Sixth Man" tshirt somewhere at home. The one with Seth's mug in the dead center of the shirt. I also came across a few of those Seth heads on popsicle sticks. Marketing genius! Ahhh, the good old days.

I still have the old yellow shirts they gave out for the BB games when ESPN would cover our BB games.

ME TOO!!! i didn't think anyone still had them. Anyone have the Greenbergopolis (spelling??) ones too???? I wear mine to the gym all the time and ALWAYS get weird looks.

i still have my Greenbergopolis shirt and have numerous green and gold shirts that were handed out at the basketball games, i think i have like 8-10 of them.

he's dead wrong on a lot of things. Football was an instant success imo

I was never ashamed to wear our school colors and I would never equate them with the words "puke".

We had plenty of successes before 2001. And we weren't in one single trailer in 2001 either-- there were 3 double wides. I have the photgraphic evidence to support that.

I get the impression from what this guy write that he hated everything about USF until we started being ranked and winning against ranked teams. Some fan-- bandwagon at best.

He completely skips over the late 80s basketball success. His view of the school itself being an industrial plant sounds like something from 1987. The school has done a lot of great things to improve over those years and in 2001-- it was already looking pretty **** sweet imo.

I don't care for this article-- as you can tell-- because it reaks of someone who believes every stinking sterotype that USF haters have professed since I began hearing these BS comments.

Take pride in this school. Don't piss all over the past-- there are many of us who pitched in to help make USF what it is today but to complain that it came from nothing in 2001 is complete and utter nonsense.

I know Brandon...but he is dead wrong to say "It wasn't cool to wear USF green and gold back then."  It might not have been cool for those less enlightened.  It was cool.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
