the place holder is in the south sundome parking lot.  I don't think a decent sized stadium would fit.

Give the Claw a chance My Father in-law should be taking it over sometime next year and things will change there.

As for putting a stadium there don’t count on it the area next to the claw is a wildlife reserve and Hillsborough County is not going to allow any stadium next to Wildlife Reserve let alone a college stadium.

Seriously though, if and when a stadium is built, it should be on or near the South west corner of the campus. Where in college football can you have stadium near so many hotels & restaurants. Everything in walking distance for students & visitors alike.

Better yes, that whole ugly ass industrial area south of Fowler between 30th and McKinley is perfect.  Just put in some emminent domain lawyers, get the title, BULLdoze it down, and build it baby, just build it!!!!! 8)

I for one actually think a stadium could fit in their placeholder.  If you use Google Maps/Google Earth, you can find other college stadiums in the range we might be looking for, keep it at the same view level and see that most would fit.  I'll work on some images and post here soon.  Another thing to consider is that would they either reroute or even get rid of Alumni Drive south of the Sundome to make a little more room.
