I use to work at mosi, and all though they are extremely broke, I think they had plans for some of the property behind them, but this was 2-3 years ago.

But the economics nerd guy listed our real problems.

I wasn't inferring that the OCS needs to be put up soon-- far from that

justthat whenever it does go up-- we have a lot of places that it can fit-- I'm all for putting next to current land moreso than on existing since that expands the campus a bit. Plus-- the spot I mentioned seems to be very condusive to parking-- school parking, band field parking, Sun Dome, MOSI, **** Greco fields-- and lots of other land around that area that has been used for motor bikes since I can remember (although USF itself was built on land that was used for bombing practice if I remember correctly).

ANyway-- where it goes-- it will be pretty cool, however long it takes for that to be done.

USF does own the University mall property too. Would be a great place for a stadium and student housing.

Well done Economics_Nerd82, that is the problem.  It will cost millions to build a half decient stadium so if we don't have the money then we will build a sub-par stadium and that will drive fans away. 

Another thing, image 50,000 plus fans in cards not all in cards but a good subset of that trying to drive down Fowler and Fletcher to get to games. 

The stadium will alter the transportation infrastructure.

And here I thought we were going to make it a week without an OCS thread.

Just my $.02, but I don't think transportation is that big of a deal since we are talking 6 days a year. It's not like it is going to screw up people's morning commute.

I know it has been said, but we have to continue to increase our season ticket sales, and make sure that the fans are going to be loyal. Season ticket prices will increase when we get a stadium, so a lot of thought has to be given to what magic number we are going to have to hit to make it viable.
