Any word on USF going to Under Armour next season

I HATE OUR HELMETS!

I think Under Armor may be a better choice for the long run, as a "young, up and coming" company. Kinda fits our identity better, doesnt it?

Would you rather be 30th on the list of nike teams or 2nd or 3rd on the list of under armor teams?

It definately fits our identity better. I just hope they don't change the unis too much. A couple of their teams have pretty ugly unis. Keep it traditional!

MY biggest question is if Under Armor will demand that we use the correct color helmets.   Wouldnt want THEIR new uniforms to be tainted by our disgustingly incorrect helmets....

I have no problem with Under Armor as long as USF keeps the same style uniforms.  UA does make some sweet shirts.

PS.  There is nothing wrong with the color of the helmets.

I really hope we keep the same shade of green.  Remember before Nike we had that dark green which almost looked black.  I'd rather not go back to that.

I dont want to hijack this thread, but you sir, are color blind. Jim Leavitt himself, who has been credited with selecting the color of our helmets, has admitted that he is color blind.............and it shows.

I was at Gulfshore the day of the WV game and Reps from UA were just arriving for the game. Apparently, UA wants more schools in the south.  However, it is not yet a done deal for UA, at least as of last Friday. Also learned that CJL picked the helmet colors and the black iconic U.

The helmet looks a lot worse when it's lit artificially. When it's in the sunlight, it doesn't look quite so bad.

Exactly. Big deal that it doesn't color coordinate with our other gold. It's the same color helmet we've had for the last how many years ... It's the same color helmet we've beaten top 25 and top 10 teams in .... It's the same color helmet we got our first ever ranking in and climbed to the top 10 in... It's the same color helmet we EXPECT to see our players in ... There is absolutely NO reason to change the color at this point in time.... especially if you believe in Karma.   8)

BTW, with all this national attention and scrutiny, has there been ANY comment outside of this board about our helmets being the wrong color gold or the "U" being black instead of green?   :nope
