not just the past, but the hypothetical present. using "you would never beat Team X" as an insult is hysterical, because there's virtually no way to argue it with someone like that

They had to get turned down a few times by some coaches before they went out and found themselves a prostitute.

They live for the "Bahr" and all the "tradishuns" of Bama football.  I'm sure they'll win their 23rd National Championship next year or however many they want to have this week.

Just to clarify Alabama did sign Mike Ford... he didn't meet NCAA qualifications. So, instead of giving up, he got his grades up and returned to a school and coach that actually gave two sh!ts about him (USF and Leavitt).
