Herbstreit is great. he's bashing all the folks who get pissed at anyone who dare says anything remotely negative about USF. :)

i love this guy.

Geez, get over it. We are not bashing D-bag because he is not a USF cheerleader, we are mostly bashing him because he has all facts wrong. He belittles our wins while throwing wrong info out there.

I think the fans are enjoying the ride and are not complaining.  I am pretty sure we were all surprised to see the new rankings this week...

I think there are a few that are harassing Dumig and he is taking it out on the entire fan base.

well, when that's his only exposure, that's what he'll think.

it's like the threads here bashing FAU and UCF fans, and even our own fans. it's just a natural instinct from people.

Duemig is right on the fact that most of our fans are uneducated....... the students (fit in as well)..... We need to shut up when the O has the ball.....

I was in the middle of the student section, and me and several others got a large majority of us to shut up or keep it way down.

  I could almost hear a pen drop at points when the offense was on the field, so I dont see a big problem there.

Hmm, who am I annoyed with more... Kirk or Big Dog?  I guess Kirk can't mark out to the Big Ten since they suck so much this year...  I think Kirk was way off base last year with his campaigning against Florida...

Wait, now Big Dog just agreed that USF fans went out last week and bought a shirt and don't know what to do on offense and defense as a crowd.  Ok I am annoyed with Big Dog now.  It's sad because he doesn't have to be such an arse when there is such a good story going on right now.

I hate being lumped in with bandwagon fans but I guess that is going to be the perception now.

What a joke.  I am just a regular guy and know more about college football and the NFL than that clown.  Man, I probably have forgotten more things about football than that clown has ever known and I don't get paid for it.  I have been watching football long before USF had a program.  Just because USF football is new does not mean all fans are novices.  ( I am sure there are plenty of others here that can claim the same thing  :))

The educated students try to police the..."less educated" students, it just takes them a while to figure out whats going on. My biggest problem is the band. Now no offense HOT, but there has been about a dozen times when the Band starts up, while we are on offense, just as grothe is fixin' to get the ball... Come on now band!

Actually you're right... A few times I was (with the guys next to me) telling people to quiet down and then I realize that the band is still playing...

A lot of people think when the band is playing is a good time to make noise... I can't really blame them if they've never been to a game I guess... Of course, I wish people who hadn't been to games before would get the upper deck student seats instead of the endzone student seats, but whatever...
