I'm stoked to see our #6 Bulls take the field down there, but just have one minor request to make to all of my fellow fans that are going to be there.

I am expecting a big Bulls turnout, and if we do indeed find ourselves in the majority, I ask and hope that we won't boo FAU when they take the field. I say we should be as loud as possible for our team at all times, but it makes me sick when I see people boo home teams.

Let's start building a great reputation as guests who won't go in and trash the other fans or teams from the stands, but just encourage our players to do it on the field. We represent the school and the team to both the media, other schools and viewing prospects.

Remember in 2003 when JR Reed got the team to stand and pay respect when Army played their Alma Mater after we shut them out 28-0?

THOSE are the types of things I'd like our team and fan base to be known for.  Cheer, scream, whatever, but be respectful.

Right on '08.  Let's be respectful.  Remember how we all felt about UCF fans trashing the parking lots, f-bombs during the game and booing our team.  Let's be known as a respectful bunch.  We will definitely be taking over their parking lots and stadium with our enthusiasm.  Make sure that enthusiasm is focused on supporting the Bulls and not disrespecting the opponent.

Agree. I was going to make a similar thread about this. If ANYONE knows how it feels to be outnumbered (Syracuse bball last year, ND bball last year) it is USF.

We may be in the majority come this Saturday, but it is by no means gives us the right to act like we own the place. keep it classy and represent your school and team well.

And, if you can, try to police other bulls. This doesn't mean fight or be jackass. You can correct people without it turning into anything big (this could simply be buying a beer for an Owl who was just barked at by some USF jackass).

I have no problem booing a team that we might have a bitter rivalry with.  But to boo a team that you are a heavy favorite to beat just seems pointless.  Like you're just booing to hear yourself boo.
