When has CJL ever stomped on anyone?

Here is what is more likely to happen...

... if USF gets up by three touchdowns, CJL will start playing conservative football... lots of runs on offense, and a cover/zone kind of defense that allows teams to move down the field but not make big plays.

CJL will quickly take his foot off the gas.

Does CJL need to change that part of our game plan now that USF is amoung the elite?  Blow lesser opponents out for the pollsters who just look at the final score and not the fact that it was complete domination.

Fact is, the #6 team in the country is expected to blow out non bcs teams.  Anything less than a 2 td win is considered a close call and is penalized.

WVU beat Marshall by 25 points and people were saying how "close" it was.  (Spare me the Marshall stayed with them for 3 quarters, game was never in doubt.)

I think we need to respect FAU --- they beat Minnesota-- and while that is looking not all that amazing based on the other games the Gophers have played this season--- it is still a sign that this team can bring it.

I will be happy with a win here. THe bigger the win-- sure-- that would be great. If you have noticed in the comments by the players-- it's all about being prepared and haing fun.

So watch for them to have some fun this weekend. Hope that it is tons of fun. With as many fans as I think we will have there-- it could be a home field advantage for USF. If we are fortunate, we will have this game in hand by the early 3rd quarter and get our second and third team some good live reps in-- somewhat similar to the UNC game

We must maintain focus on each game for FAU and UCF.  One game - one week.  We slip up and drop a game and the fizz will be all gone.  I hope the team keeps its focus.

First off we need to win and get out without injuries.

If we go 12-0 and win the Big East thats what counts.

I would like a blow out but the facts are that FAU wil be jacked up for this game, they are not a bad team and they are not playing away.

So if you ask me would I take a 21-10 win with no injuries over a 42-10 that puts a couple of our starters at a chance at getting injured.

Ill take the 21-10 and run.

We need to win and stay healthy.
